"I am looking for a fellow traveller, destination is not important. Relationships are possible with mutual sympathy."

First ad is a typical dating profile with no information about the trip, so it`s hard to say whether this person is a good match.

The second ad obviously narrows the search down to specific countries and goals, and it is even seen that the author is an active person who likes exploring new places.

Another good side of the second example is that it does not mention relationships, which makes the communication to the prospective fellow traveller much more flexible, meaning that it may go both ways, friendship or relationship.

Finding a good companion

Once you`re done with the ad, it`s time to start searching. When you find travellers who caught your eye, ask them about the trip they are planning. When it is clear for both of you that you have similar ideas in mind, it`s time to meet up and get to know each other.
